How to find Left-Side Fuji

Mt. Fuji normally belongs to Seat E. But where the track curves in this section, Fuji appears briefly on the opposite A side. Known as a lucky left-side Fuji, it is a tiny window-seat reward that lasts only a few seconds. Seat A gets its moment too.

If you are traveling from Tokyo toward Shin-Osaka, start watching the Seat A · sea side window as you approach Shin-Fuji → Shizuoka. If you are traveling toward Tokyo, the order is reversed.

Why this view matters

Left-Side Fuji is one of the window views that make the Tokaido Shinkansen more than a transfer. The train moves fast, so visibility depends on weather, seat position, and timing.
